A couple of minutes walk to the main town and although on a main road there wasnât any noticeable traffic noise, just noisy seagulls! The house was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm all day long, just what we needed for our wet Feb holiday. Plenty of hot water for six adults too. Parking was the only drawback. You can only park one car around the corner, away from the house. If you have more cars (we had three in total), they have to be parked in the long stay car park at the top of a hill at about £10 a day. I noticed other holiday cottage lets offer a parking permit - a house for six is likely to have more than one car!

Having easy access to park our EV and charge it was also a great bonus, especially given the observation that Parking in Lyme Regus can be tricky at the best of times. We also, for those brave enough and willing, recommend the 6.5 mile undercliff walk to Seaton. The starting point is the costal path between bowling club and boat building car park ... follow it up and into the closest that the UK has to a rainforest.
