Forming part of an impressive, detached property a short walk from Lyme Regis in Dorset, is this delightful first-floor apartment, Little Gem. An ideal holiday destination for a small family or a couple, the apartment is attractive and has everything needed for a successful seaside break. The light and airy living space has ample seating, attractive picture windows with charming sea views and a feature fireplace, making it a wonderfully sociable space. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the facilities you need to be able to produce delicious meals for the whole family and in the open-plan living space there is a stylish dining area ideally positioned to make the most of those gorgeous views. You can imagine spending many happy hours in this space enjoying spending holiday time together and really getting into the vacation vibe. When bedtime calls, you can take your pick from the elegantly presented king-size bedroom for the grown-ups or the cool single bedroom with pull-out truckle bed for the kids. Both offer a relaxing space to chill out and catch up on sleep ready for the next day’s adventures. After a refreshing shower, you’re good to go and the delights of Lyme Regis are just a short walk where you will find a great selection of shops, bars, galleries, eateries and pubs as well as a charming harbour, beach and causeway as well as the popular Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and Lyme Regis Museum. They are somewhat shabby and I wondered what we'd come too! Also don't be put off by the masking tape around the internal window frames....assume they were there to stop drafts? Other than that the flat itself, once inside was lovely, it was very clean and had everything we needed. It looked as tho it hadn't long been renovated. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this property. Loved sitting in the bay window with a coffee looking at the views. It was quite close to the beach. The free parking at Netflix on the TV were a bonus Just one point to note there is no external light in the porch which made it difficult to get the key in the lock after dark and I stumbled over the step just outside the door.

It would also be useful to put the Flat number on the info that is sent out. Everything else was great - apart from the walk up the hill when you been at the beach all day! Not sure you can do much about that! Great stay though, enjoyed every minute of it.

A lovely welcome pack was provided and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. To improve it would be good to have more than 1 key to the property or to fix the intercom buzzer, to prevent having to go downstairs to the front door to let another family member in.
