The Bolthole is a charming cottage in Lyme Regis, appreciated for its quiet setting, comfortable accommodation, and private, sunny garden. Guests have enjoyed the abundant wildlife and the convenience for exploring the town. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but the overall experience remains positive, with a thoughtful touch of a welcome goody bag.
The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with only a single mention of a small issue on arrival which was quickly resolved.
The location is highly praised for its quietness and proximity to the town. However, access via a very narrow lane and parking costs have been minor concerns.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and perfect for relaxation, with a special mention of the garden adding to the comfort of their stay.
Facilities are well-received with the property being the best equipped some guests have stayed in. Deductions are made for minor maintenance issues like the dishwasher and toaster malfunctions.
While guests have expressed gratitude for the welcome goody bag, there is insufficient information to determine if such thoughtfulness is consistent across all stays, hence the score is set to null.

Lovely house the only draw back was the kitchen, not really enough room for the table with four people round it to get in and out, also the dishwasher didn't;t open properly so very difficult to fill. Shame not to have put a full size in there. We did have a problem with the boiler which kept resetting, meaning the water kept going cold in the shower. The maintenance crew did come round to fix but it still went cold. Luckily it was our last day. The shower was very good through when it was hot! We would definitely come back as great for a family of four.

A comfortable quiet cottage close to the town.

There was a small issue on arrival with the cleaning but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Parking at the nearest car park was easy despite the uphill walk to get there! Would stay again.
