Guests say

The Stable in Lyme Regis is praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. Guests appreciate the property's quiet setting, proximity to town, and the mix of old and new in its design. Some concerns were raised about furniture comfort, maintenance issues, and the need for updates, but overall stays were enjoyable with many considering a return visit.

Guests consistently report that The Stable is very clean, with several reviews highlighting the property's cleanliness as a positive aspect. There were minor issues with a dishwasher and a blocked sink, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and quiet, yet within walking distance to Lyme Regis. Some guests noted the challenge of walking back up the hill and the benefit of a nearby bus stop. The location is generally well-regarded, though accessibility for those with mobility issues is a concern.

Comfort receives mixed reviews. While the underfloor heating and quiet environment are appreciated, several guests mention that the furniture, particularly the beds and seating, could be more comfortable. The need for updates in this area has been noted.

Facilities are well-received for being well-equipped and functional. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with the shower temperature, a leaking washing machine, and the need for a tumble dryer. The garden's upkeep and the need for a blind on a skylight were also mentioned.

The welcome pack is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts can vary and are not guaranteed, this should be considered a pleasant addition rather than an expectation for future guests.

Very thoughtful welcome pack containing local produce much appreciated.

Couldn't use channel changer. No where to put rubbish as the bin was full when we arrived. Left our rubbish at the side of the bin. We had to bring bottles and cans back home with us. The chairs in the lounge were old and rickety. But the weather was great and the accommodation was quite and peaceful.

The Welcome pack was far beyond our expectations and most enjoyable. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and bedroom storage was more than ample. The only slight negative relates to the sofa which seems to be a little tired and the two arm chairs are dated. All in all a wonderful stay.
