Guests say

Upper Seascape is a well-furnished apartment with stunning views and a garden, ideal for families and pets. Its proximity to the town and harbour, alongside the comfort and cleanliness, make it a popular choice for a British seaside holiday. Some guests noted issues with maintenance and garden upkeep, but these were balanced by the property's overall charm and amenities.

Most guests found Upper Seascape clean and tidy, with only a few isolated complaints about specific cleanliness issues such as a dirty toilet and a smelly bin outside. The majority of reviews do not mention significant cleanliness problems.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town, harbour, and beautiful views of the sea and Golden Cap. Some guests mentioned the presence of a car park and a steep climb which may affect those with mobility issues, but overall the location is considered ideal.

Guests generally found the apartment comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy furnishings. Some minor issues were raised regarding the comfort of the garden furniture and the heat of the downstairs shower, but these did not detract significantly from the overall comfort of the stay.

The apartment is well-equipped and modern, with a few guests suggesting improvements in garden maintenance and furniture updates. There were also comments about ongoing building work next door and some facilities needing repair, such as the bathroom extractor fan and garden summer house.

While some guests mentioned the lack of a welcome pack, which could be seen as a thoughtful touch, there is not enough consistent information across the reviews to accurately score the property on thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Great views over the sea and coastline. Property is well maintained and garden is really secluded and the dog loved it.just about all you need for a good holiday.

Garden could do with some maintenance. However our whole stay was overshadowed by the major building work going on next door. Daily sawing, drilling & hammering could be heard inside the flat & in the garden from 9am. Unfortunately we were not warned about this before we booked or given the chance to change our booking. There was no mention of the building work in the listing. Our complaint was met with little interested from Lyme Bay (you deal with contact centres, the local team did not come to talk to us) or the owners (who didn’t acknowledge that they should have told us before we arrived). So we wouldn’t recommend booking with Lyme Bay or these owners. You may be unpleasantly surprised by what you have booked.
