The Field Shelter is a unique, well-equipped timber pod in a peaceful and private location on a farm in West Dorset. An ideal glamping spot for couples or a family to enjoy a special break in beautiful rolling countryside.

The pod is perfectly set up and offers bright, modern living with bi-fold doors opening onto a large deck overlooking the enclosed garden framed with trees and shrubs. Inside the well-equipped pod has a cosy seating area with television, separate dining area with table and chairs, and a kitchen area with oven, hob, and fridge. There are two comfortable bedrooms which can accommodate up to four guests, and there is a well-appointed shower room with wash basin & WC.

Relax outside The Field Shelter with a coffee on the decking, light up the barbecue or read a book in the cradle swing, as you enjoy the sheltered garden.

The stunning countryside all around invites you to walk, cycle or drive and explore, and there are numerous villages and towns within each reach. Dorset's highest hill forts of Lewesdon Hill and Pilsdon Pen can be seen from The Field Shelter, and are well worth the climb, offering outstanding views all across Dorset and Devon beyond. Being close to the Jurassic Coast, there is ample opportunity for excellent coastal walks or enjoying water sports or fossil collecting, so something for everyone.
