Puddletown is a village resting in the county of Dorchester, and is famed for its connection to one of the literary greats, Thomas Hardy. Named 'Weatherbury' by Hardy and used as the village in his book Far From The Madding Crowd, the Hardy's lived here and his parents are buried in the churchyard.
