Make your way into the generous kitchen, with its welcoming red and white metro tiles, to find you have ample space to store food and cater for your party during your break. The adjoining lounge/diner is the perfect place to relax together after your many excursions. Dine at the table by the bay window or settle back on the soft seating to play a board game, complete a jigsaw or watch the Smart TV in the evening. When you are ready to retire for the night, amble through to either the double bedroom or the king-size, which share the family shower room. Although there is no outside space with this apartment, it is a pleasant stroll down to the beach or to Greenhill Gardens, also 500 metres away.

Pack a picnic and venture 14 miles to the impressive natural limestone arch of Durdle Door. Picture-postcard Lulworth Cove, 15 miles from the apartment, is also a wonderful place to walk in winter or swim in summer. Magnificent Lulworth Castle, where you can walk in the park in the high season, is 16 miles away. Stroll out along the long bank of Chesil Beach, 6 miles from your base.
