One of the most favoured locations for locals and holiday makers alike is Hope Square, at Brewers Quay. It is surrounded with numerous pretty bistros, pubs and cafes perfect for alfresco dining in the summer and cosy fireside drinks in the winter. The beautiful old harbour side offer the perfect location to wonder at the visiting yachts and flotilla of working fishing boats, returning with their days catch.

Weymouth’s award-winning blue flag main beach is also within easy walking distance. Nothe Gardens, with its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, overlooks the whole of Weymouth Bay - arguable the best view in Weymouth! Try your luck fishing from the stone pier or if you feel more adventurous take daily fishing tour which departs from the harbour in the summer months. Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!

My only moan would be that both the outside areas were neglected and tired - which was a shame because the terrace area to the bedroom could be lovely if cleaned and maintained. We will though return - thank you

Only downside was all sofas, sofa covers and rugs all smelt like dog. I think also useful to note it is hard to load/unload into the property unless you park in the middle of a small road. But other than that we had a lovely and comfortable stay.
