The Kings Statue in Weymouth is a well-furnished apartment with stunning views, superb location, and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the proximity to the beach, shops, and the inclusion of a parking permit. While some minor issues were reported, the property's overall presentation and the thoughtful welcome hamper have left a positive impression on many visitors.
The apartment received mixed feedback on cleanliness. One guest reported it was not clean upon arrival, necessitating personal cleaning, while another found it spotless. This suggests inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants, with stunning sea views. However, some guests noted noise from the street and nearby pubs, which may affect light sleepers.
Guests found the beds and sofa very comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some guests mentioned issues with bed linen sizes and a too-soft bed, indicating room for improvement in this area.
The apartment is well-equipped with a good shower, kitchenware, and a washer/dryer. However, there were reports of maintenance issues such as a non-working oven and hot water problems, which were promptly addressed.
The provision of a 'Dorset Happy Hamper' and fresh milk was well-received, showcasing the property's thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a delightful surprise and not guaranteed with every stay.

It's location is superb, just across from the beach, with wonderful sea views, right on the edge of town, for shops and restaurants. It is so lovely furnished with quality furniture, the sofa and chairs are so comfortable to sit and watch the ever changing scenery outside. The beds were so comfortable, had some of the best nights sleep we've had for a long time. My seven year old son loved sitting in his bed and watching the "big ships" out in the bay. The kitchen is so well equipped, not that we did much cooking, but had everything you would need. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The "Dorset Happy Hamper" was a real treat on arrival, full of local products, my son loved the "posh" chocolate, and a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge. The parking permit was an added bonus, and we were lucky to find a space just behind the apartment (I appreciate that this may not always be the case). We loved it so much we have already booked another week in the summer, and I'm sure this will be the first of many at "The Kings Statue". Thank you Dream Cottages for making this a few days away to remember. Five stars all around.

Flat perfect but spare set of keys would be great We did not mind outside street noise but it might be highlighted as some wouldvind it annoying

Beautiful view of the beach & right next to all the shops & facilities. The only thing that lets it down is the cleanliness! It was not clean at all upon arrival- I had to hoover myself to get up the hairs & masses of crumbs on the floor & over table surfaces!! Yuk!! The bathroom did not apply clean either, such a shame & no cleaning materials for me to do it myself, although you would not expect to have to do this for the amount we paid!
