With delicious homemade cake to greet us and also a bottle of wine. Ample logs for a roasty, toastie fire which warmed up the cottage gorgeously. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels smelt heavenly! Felt like a hidden retreat, tucked away in the valley.

Very well equipped with a fantastic wood burning stove which was very controllable and the owners provided all the wood. The location is excellent, secluded and dark at night. Overall a great place to stay.

Well equipped kitchen and cozy sitting room. Beds were comfortable. The second bedroom was a little short on storage space. Parking arrangements could have been better. Might be a bit chilly in the winter as the original windows didnât close well. Very pleasant stay in this Interesting area.
