Guests say

Guests have had delightful stays at The Old Stable, praising its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped nature. The property's conversion is admired for retaining character, and the local pub's meals are a highlight. Some guests mentioned minor issues with facilities and the desire for more privacy outdoors, but these do not detract from the overall positive experiences and the property's suitability for both relaxing and exploring Somerset.

The majority of guests found The Old Stable to be very clean and well-presented. There were a few mentions of minor issues such as cobwebs, but these were not seen as significant detractors from the overall cleanliness.

The location is appreciated for its quiet village setting and proximity to local attractions and amenities, although a car is necessary for shopping. The local pub is a plus, but guests should be aware of the need to book in advance.

Guests generally found the property comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and modern bathroom. However, some guests noted the lack of toilet facilities upstairs and the size of the double bedroom as minor discomforts.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Some guests noted the absence of a table tennis table and issues with shower accessibility and outside space. Maintenance issues like a broken shower head were also mentioned.

While guests have not explicitly mentioned gifts, the provision of a welcome bottle of wine during Christmas was noted. However, as this is not a consistent theme across the reviews, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness based on gifts, and guests should not expect them as guaranteed.
