The village of Compton Dundon is situated close to the towns of Somerton and Glastonbury in Somerset. Compton Dundon has a Post Office, church and a pub, and just outside of the village is an iron age hill fort. Just three miles away is the delightful, historic Somerset market town of Somerton, once the ancient capital of Wessex, bordering the scenic Somerset Levels.

About a 10 minute drive from Glastonbury, it was a perfect little quiet break away. Bramble cottage is quirky, cute and full of character. The location is so nice in the countryside, away from hustle and bustle. Caroline was there to greet us on our arrival and was contactable if we had any questions. Facilities was well stocked and was never without anything. The hot tub is a big bonus too and was really nice to relax in at the end of the day. Only minor pointers is that the bath is quite low and is a handheld showerhead. As someone who's disabled I should have thought about this beforehand, but that is on me, but be mindful if you have mobility issues. Overall a wonderful stay at Bramble and would recommend to friends and family!

Met Caroline so welcoming to the Bramble lovely and clean couldn't fault it a very good base to surrounding district Glastonbury and Wells cheddar gorge and other places

There are a few points that Caroline could address that would have made the experience better. In the bedroom, if there were a choice of pillows either soft or firm. The sofa could do with being changed to a newer and more comfy. There were alot of cobwebs on lamps and light fittings. But all in all a great stay. Many thanks Caroline.
