... about 3 miles from Ilminster, within a great country estate, the Gingerbread House is thatched, hexagonal, Grade II listed. On the edge of woods, about 300 yards down a farm track, 100 yards from farm buildings and about 300 yards from the busy A358 road (visible), it was built c1800 as the gardener's home. You are welcome to walk the 500 acres of farmland, park and woodland, by arrangement. You have a good-sized, secluded lawn (table/chairs, barbecue), leading to woods and fields. 

Leaded gothic windows, pine-shuttered. Studded front door; little hall; two living rooms, one with open fireplace, one with TV/DVD; kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave); downstairs loo (washing machinetumble drier). Steep, curved stairs (rope rail) up to three bedrooms – a double, a twin, and 3 steps down to another twin and big bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Lovely walking in the surrounding woods and fields.
