Guests say

Tom's Barn in Somerset is consistently praised for its immaculate condition, peaceful and convenient location, and cosy comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including a wood burner and a range cooker. The thoughtful touches, such as homemade scones and dog welcome packs, contribute to the property's charm, making it a highly recommended stay for a tranquil retreat.

Reviewers unanimously commend the property for its spotless presentation, with several noting it as 'immaculate' and 'very clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The property is lauded for its peaceful rural setting with convenient access to local attractions and towns. Its proximity to Yeovil and various tourist spots in Somerset and Dorset is frequently mentioned, although one mention of nearby burning materials causing a smell prevents a perfect score.

Guests frequently describe their stays as comfortable, with particular praise for the cosy atmosphere, warm heating system, and comfortable beds. The property's tranquillity contributes to the overall comfort experienced by visitors.

The barn is consistently described as well-equipped and maintained to a high standard, with a range cooker and wood burner often highlighted. However, a few minor comments about Wi-Fi connectivity and the lack of a dish drainer slightly affect the score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests delighted by welcome packs and homemade scones. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The barn is beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and very well equipped. The heating and hot water worked well as it was cold and wet for most of the week. This is a perfect country getaway spot, Carol and Glen were lovely and their cats were very friendly and came to say hello. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a friendly, warm welcome from Carol with delicious homemade scones and cream - a lovely start to our holiday. Tom’s barn had everything we needed for a great place to stay. A comfortable place to sit; a lovely outside bit (which, because of the weather, we were able to enjoy); very well equipped kitchen; a lovely bathroom and very comfortable beds. The place was peaceful and welcoming and there were so many places to visit from there. This holiday let was definitely one of the best ones we’ve stayed in ~ if you choose Tom’s barn you will not be disappointed.
