Bright in the daytime and homely at night, the living room has three large windows and a wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in with a movie. Wake up refreshed in the bedrooms and enjoy your morning coffee on the patio as your pup scampers about the large, enclosed garden. Kids will love exploring the fenced bridge and stream while a BBQ sizzles sausages for a spot of al fresco dining come the evening. Watch the sunset over the open countryside as you sip a well-earned glass of wine.

Head to the coast to explore the pretty towns of Porlock (20 miles), Lynton (26 miles) and Lynmouth (25 miles), home to popular pubs, galleries and boutiques. An outdoor aficionado’s heaven, Exmoor National Park is on your doorstep, so spend your days exploring wild moorland, woodland and valleys by foot or bike. Dulverton (5 miles) has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to discover. Find lovely trails at the Tarr Steps Woodland National Nature Reserve (8 miles) or try kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding at Wimbleball Lake Activity Centre (10 miles).
