Enjoying panoramic views across Brixham breakwater and the sea beyond, this charming three-bedroom property is perfect for families and friends wanting a peaceful base from which to discover the delights of the English Riviera. Only a short walk from the harbourside eateries and town centre boutiques, spend the day exploring the winding streets, visit the Heritage Museum and Brixham Battery, or challenge your family to a sandcastle building competition on the beach.
Located on a quiet residential street, your reverse-level accommodation is designed to take advantage of the spectacular views enjoyed from the property. Looking out across the harbour, the first-floor living space is light and airy with the open-plan layout, offering sea glimpses whether you are rustling up a meal in the contemporary kitchen or relaxing after a day of sightseeing on the comfy sofas. At bedtime, head downstairs where you will find two bedrooms, a double and a twin on the ground floor, and the master king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room can be found on the lower ground floor via cottage-style stairs. The spacious family bathroom is also situated on this level. Accessed via French doors from the living room, you can sit on the pretty balcony and watch the world go by.
Step onto the coastal path to discover secluded coves and tranquil beaches for the perfect picnic spot. Walk up Berry Head to visit Britain’s highest and smallest lighthouse and the two Napoleonic forts that sit on the headland. Take a trip around the coastline on one of the pleasure cruises from the harbour or enjoy a swim in the Shoalstone Seawater Lido. Visit the model village at Babbacombe (11 miles) and explore the 4 acres of miniature worlds on display. Ride the Babbacombe Cliff Railway to Oddicombe Beach to spot local resident, Sammy the seal.
