About this property

A popular resort, where modern marina meets quaint fishing harbour and where you can watch the trawlers landing their catch, Brixham is a wonderful destination for a family holiday. On the edge of the harbour, with glorious views and the boats feel so close you can almost reach out and touch them, is Quayside Lookout. This smart first floor apartment is situated above a popular coffee shop, serving Fair Trade coffee as well as tasty cakes and pastries. The open plan living area is light and spacious and two bedrooms at the rear of the property assure a quiet night's sleep. Why not leave the car behind, take the nearby ferry and explore by sea, bus, or steam train which runs from nearby Dartmouth.

Brixham is a fishing harbour on The English Riviera. The focal point is a life-size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. Britain’s largest fishing fleet land their catch in the harbour. Brixham is ideal for a family holiday with Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and regattas and maritime events. There are cycle trails in the area, the South West Coast Path and golf courses. A mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages.

Apartment was clean and tidy. We had fruit scones, clotted cream, jar of jam and small carton of milk on our arrival. We spoke to the owners prior to our holiday and we was provided with all information we needed, we would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and we will be booking to come back here again.

Wonderful location and a beautiful apartment which was well equipped and spacious. Great communication from the owners prior to us arriving. Could not fault this place and we will definitely be back!

Thoroughly recommend it. Brixham itself is now very attractive compared to a few years ago. Well done. Advice, I would add that both the shower tray and bath need grab handles as they are like standing on ice. Otherwise 10/10. Great holiday thank you.
