Guests say

Blue Horizon is a charming cottage in Brixham with stunning harbour views and well-equipped rooms. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and the property's prime location for exploring the town. While the steps to the property are noted, they add to the authentic experience of staying in a traditional fisherman's cottage. The balcony is a highlight, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery.

The property generally maintains good standards of cleanliness, though some guests have noted areas that require deeper cleaning, such as the kitchen, bathroom, and certain furnishings. Attention to detail in these areas could enhance the overall experience.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to local amenities. The working harbour adds character, though the associated noise and the steep access steps may not suit everyone.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, contributing to a restful stay. The presence of noise from the nearby fish market and wildlife has been mentioned, which may affect light sleepers.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a good range of kitchen utensils and comfortable living spaces. However, some guests suggest updates and maintenance in areas like the bathroom, balcony furniture, and flooring to reach its full potential.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Great views. Great location. Lovely and clean and tidy. Bed lovely and comfortable too. Would love to go back again to Brixham and use the cottage again. Great all round 7 days had. Thank you.

The property was superb, very well laid out with plenty of space and the views from every room were out of this world. Position was very good to the Harbour, only a small walk, having somewhere to park the car was a bonus, highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again.

The parking is very welcome and we managed the steps with the luggage although it would not suit everyone. The majority of the property was clean and tidy. Our main gripe was that the lovely balcony was totally unusable. It was coated in weeks worth of huge piles of bird poo and was too disgusting to use. We realise that birds will be birds but this looked as if it needed a proper deep clean which had been lacking for some time. This was a major disappointment as we really wanted a property with some outdoor space.
