Its ideally situated in the village and is lovely and quiet. The garden would benefit from a bit of love and tlc, it was a bit tired as was the cottage. That said it's the end of the season. I really loved Lavenham and will definately return but maybe not to this cottage.

The sofa and only soft chair to sit on had seen better days and not comfortable at all, this will need an update. Sorry. Garden was very overgrown and not as secure (enclosed)as we thought it would be, it wasnât until we arrived that we found our dog could get into the neighbours gardens so was having to be on her lead all the time, we blocked of the patio area with the bins and garden chairs so she could have a little freedom. This can be easily rectified by perhaps putting some wire fencing around the hedging. The village and Surrounding area was beautiful and would come again staying a different cottage. Sorry.

Garden furniture very uncomfortable and the table needed a good clean and sanding. I feel that no effort was made to make it Clean and tidy. What would the cost of a few fresh potted fowers be ?? Honestly very bad . I also feel you should have highlighted more the very poor access to the bedrooms. We are fit enough but still felt it was dangerous , a rope attached to the side of the stairs might help. I know the property is for sale at the moment but if you are renting it again please try to make it more enjoyable for visitors coming to stay. Colett Lenehan.
