The cottage's charm and the thoughtful welcome box add to the delightful experience.

Most guests found the cottage to be very relaxing and comfortable, with only one mention of the cottage needing a better clean. This suggests that cleanliness is generally of a high standard.

The location is consistently praised for its tranquillity, local amenities, and proximity to attractions. The village's friendliness and the availability of good walks contribute to the high score.

Guests describe the cottage as comfortable, cosy, and a 'home from home', indicating a high level of comfort throughout their stay.

While guests are generally pleased with the facilities, there is a lack of specific information on maintenance issues or the state of facilities to accurately score this category.

The host's thoughtfulness is highlighted by the provision of a welcome box and the readiness to assist with the wood burner. However, it is noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Only booked to stay for a couple of days but it was very comfortable. Lots of information in the file, butcher's shop is well stocked and the bacon in the welcome pack was very good. Everyone we met was very friendly and the owner kindly came and lit the log fire for us as we weren't sure what to do!

Just back from a lovely week at Gabriel's place. What a beautiful cottage and village. Everyone so friendly. The Blue Boar Pub had excellent food, and the Six Bells was like going back in time. The walks recommended were good. Everyone we met wanted to chat and the dog water bowl outside the cottages around the village was lovely. The county of Suffolk was gorgeous. The good weather was a bonus. We will be definitely back.
