Skylarks Lodge in Bury St. Edmunds offers a peaceful and secluded retreat, with guests praising its comfort, tasteful decoration, and the luxury of a hot tub. The lodge is well-equipped for relaxation, though some guests suggested minor improvements. The surrounding area is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean and homely. However, there were comments about dusty floors and pillows, which suggests room for improvement in the cleaning routine.

The lodge is described as peaceful and well-situated, close enough for a walk into Bury St. Edmunds, indicating a high level of satisfaction with the location.

Guests have reported the lodge to be comfortable, with very comfortable beds and a relaxing hot tub, although there was a mention of an issue with shower temperature control.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the hot tub and cooking amenities. However, some guests noted a lack of sufficient tableware and a maintenance issue with the hot tub, affecting the score.

While guests appreciated the easy check-in and a bottle of wine on arrival, there are not enough references to thoughtfulness in the reviews to provide a comprehensive score. It should be noted that such gestures are a courtesy and not guaranteed.

We have been charged £85 for apparently leaving the hot tub in a bad state. Pictures were provided which do not show any damage at all - they are just pictures of the filter which should clean the hot tub. There was also a 2 hour power cut which surprise surprise was failed to mention. Never returning and will be going to press and social media on this.
