Guests say

Hidden Cottage in Aldeburgh is praised for its excellent location, comfortable bed, and large garden. Guests appreciate the property's character and proximity to the beach and high street. A welcome basket of goodies is a delightful touch, though not guaranteed for every stay.

There is insufficient information in the reviews to accurately assess the cleanliness of the property.

The cottage's location is highly regarded, being close to the town, beach, and river walks, making it an ideal base for exploring Suffolk's coastline.

The bed is frequently mentioned as very comfortable, contributing to the property's cosy feel. However, some guests find the sofa less comfortable and the low ceilings and challenging stairs detract from the overall comfort.

Facilities are generally adequate, but there are concerns about inconsistent hot water, TV signal issues, and a lack of cleaning supplies. The stairs are also noted as narrow and steep, resembling a ladder.

The welcome basket is a thoughtful gesture, enhancing the guest experience. However, as such amenities may vary, they should be considered a bonus rather than an expectation.

It's not comfy cosy. For this reason I didn't make use of the lounge at all. The TV didn't have signal. I think got a channel up for 30 seconds. This is an on-going problem so I don't know why it's not fixed - or, don't advertise it as having a TV. Upstairs was more comfortable so that's where I spent most time in the evenings after eating.

The lawn hadn’t been cut and TV didn’t get many channels. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure was very low in the shower on our last day.

Hidden Cottage is beautiful, really cosy and comfortable and we loved the huge back garden for our dog. It is also perfectly situated in Aldeburgh, close to the beach, and the main High Street. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
