Guests say

Stone's Throw is a charming cottage praised for its prime location in Aldeburgh, mere moments from the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate its cosy atmosphere and proximity to a great fish and chip shop. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness points were raised, the overall sentiment is positive, with guests willing to return.

The cottage's cleanliness is generally satisfactory, though there was a mention of a mouldy shower curtain and potential allergens from pets, despite a no-pet policy. These isolated incidents slightly mar an otherwise clean environment.

The location is highly commended for being central, quiet, and extremely close to the beach and shops, making it an ideal spot for visitors looking to explore Aldeburgh.

Guests find the cottage comfortable and cosy, with nice bedrooms and a treat of a bath. However, the steep stairs may pose a challenge for some, slightly affecting the comfort score.

Facilities are generally good, but some feedback suggests attention is needed for the back door latch and clearer information on waste disposal. No significant issues with the provided amenities were reported.

While guests mention that the cottage has many thoughtful touches, there is no specific reference to gifts, and therefore it is not possible to score this category accurately.

We loved staying at Stone's throw. The location couldn't have been more central, yet it still felt lovely and quiet most of the time. Everything felt very comfortable and cosy and lots of little touches had been thought of. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Nice enough little cottage, great location.

Near the chip shop but far enough away not to get smells. Very nice bedrooms. The bath is a treat. Steep stairs not for elderly or very young.
