Welcome gifts add a thoughtful touch, though their provision is not guaranteed. Some minor issues with maintenance and booking of leisure facilities were noted, but overall, guests enjoyed peaceful and relaxing stays.

This was an issue when I first made the booking and later, actually staying at the property, when I wanted to extend the booking by a couple of days. In the latter case I finally located a number, spoke to a grumpy man who transferred me to a bookings line where no one ever answered my call. The location was very quiet. We finally worked out how to book the leisure facilities, which were never very busy. We really appreciated the welcome pack. Everything was mostly very clean except for some black mould on one of the shower attachments in the top bathroom. The digital tv was very intermittent but the wifi was good. We enjoyed our stay.

Only two minor faffs- we had a couple of instances when booking the pool that the two other groups had mistakenly read their ‘reservation’ and turned up which needed resolving but this had nothing to the home owner. And secondly the weather: disappointing as this must have been the wettest end to May!
