Willow Farm is a well-loved cottage praised for its peaceful location, spacious and characterful accommodation, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate its proximity to nature reserves, beaches, and local amenities, including a friendly pub. The property is described as clean, comfortable, and ideal for both families and birdwatchers, with many looking forward to return visits.
Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There is a single mention of a cleanliness issue, but this appears to be an isolated incident rather than a common concern.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to nature reserves, beaches, and walking paths. The local pub's closeness adds to the appeal, making the location almost universally appreciated.
The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, noting its cosy atmosphere and warm central heating. However, a few guests mentioned issues with bed comfort, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with particular appreciation for the well-equipped kitchen and garden. Some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional amenities have been noted, indicating room for improvement.
Guests are delighted by the welcome pack provided, which adds a thoughtful touch to their arrival. While this is a positive aspect, it is politely noted that such gifts, though appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.
Willow Farm is an unusual property in the peaceful location of Eastbridge, closely located to Westleton, Middleton and Dunwich. It has many period features including timber beams.
Willow Farm, modernised yet with its seventeenth century original features, is situated in the hamlet of Eastbridge close to a pub which serves good food and in beautiful countryside. It’s a beautiful property, being a country farm house located in a remote and peaceful rural location with a fine pub only minutes walk away. We had lots of space to spread indoors and the garden was really large. Perfect for a dog to prance around in freely and securely. This was also a fantastically peaceful place to sit and enjoy the weather. Indoors had an excellent stock of books and board games too, which was an added bonus. The beds were soft and comfortable. The house was very clean and tidy upon arrival too. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and appliances all of which were easy to use We particularly enjoyed the little arrival gift bag of milk and goodies. Thank you. The house is an excellent base for walking, with footpaths leading to the beach, across some spectacular countryside, from the front gate. We mixed eating out and cooking in over our weeks stay. The Eels Foot Inn (uber convenient being around the corner) has a great menu and fine ales and wines. There’s also numerous great foodie pubs within a short driving distance. We particularly enjoyed The Poachers Pocket at Saxmundham. All in all, a very peaceful and relaxing Suffolk holiday home.

Wonderful traditional cottage in a stunning location. The cottage is beautifully wonky, with beamed ceilings, mixed floor levels and low doors, set in a beautiful lawned garden. (Car access to the parking is very tight). Within a very short stroll to the fabulous Eels Foot pub and a short walk to Minsmere reserve and the Suffolk coast. An absolute vision for visitors looking for that rural idyll.
