Jump in the car for some attractions a little further afield which include Snape Maltings, Easton Farm Park, Framlingham Castle and Helmingham Hall and Open Gardens, and the nearby seaside towns such as Orford and Aldeburgh are well worth a visit too. 3 Chantry Cottage offers a memorable stay within the rural idyll of Suffolk.
Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town boasting an outstanding selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The town has been famous for boatbuilding, rope and sail making since the Middle Ages. The working tide mill is a major attraction and a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.
