Jump in the car and head out for the day to places such as Melford Hall, Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere and Adnams Brewery. Snape Maltings is a short drive away and is home to the famous Aldeburgh Music Festival and has a curated range of fantastic shops and boutiques which are well worth a browse. Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town boasting an outstanding selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The town has been famous for boatbuilding, rope and sail making since the Middle Ages. The working tide mill is a major attraction and a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.
