It was a pleasant cottage, well equipped for our needs and centrally located. Shame about the building work which started up first thing Monday morning and carried on solidly all day!

Nice cottage although not suitable for elderly/infirm due to the staircase. Bungay is OK as a base but not much else to do there - castle was inaccessible due to structural problems whilst we were there. Ice cream shop is a winner. Food at Fleece Inn was really good (especially Sunday roast - best to need to reserve a table Staircase is not suitable for ANYONE with the slightest mobility issues.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Courtyard garden very nice for the summer evenings and Bungay is an interesting little town with lots to see.
