Located close to the beach and high street of popular Southwold in Suffolk, 7 Church Street is the perfect property to plan a memorable family holiday. Offering a truly authentic holiday cottage experience in the heart of a bustling seaside town, the property gives visitors the best of all worlds. The sitting room is wonderfully warm and welcoming and comes complete with an attractive woodburning stove. The fully kitchen/diner has everything needed to prepare delicious food for the whole family with a separate dining area which is bright and airy and really lends itself to long, lingering meals together. There is even a garden room which makes the most of the light and space and opens out onto the delightful outside courtyard giving you the option of sitting outdoor if the weather allows or in the cooler months, you can curl up with a good book in the garden room and still make the most of the natural light. At bedtime, take your pick from a king bedroom and a twin which are both stylishly presented and provide visitors with a relaxing and inviting sanctuary. The cottage is within walking distance of both the beach and the high street of Southwold which also boasts an impressive pier and lighthouse. Also a beautiful scenic walk from the property, is the mesmerising village of Walbserswick which has a gorgeous sandy beach and a couple of popular pubs ideal for stopping off for a refreshing drink after a gentle stroll. If you want to travel a little further away, then jump in the car and take a trip to places such as Somerleyton Hall, Framlingham Castle, Bewilderwood, Easton Farm Park and Go Ape Thetford. If you like a tipple then there are some fantastic brewery and distillery tours in the area to places such as Adnams Brewery, Shawsgate Vineyard and the English Whiskey Company. Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, rspb Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
