There is a gorgeous garden room which acts as the sitting room and dining area and boasts lots of natural light through large windows. The pretty south-facing garden is ideal for relaxing after a day spent exploring the town's wonderful selection of shops, or the delights of the Suffolk coast.

    A very convenient property for everything. It suited a young family & grandparents extremely well. We had beautiful weather so the garden was a great bonus.

    The holiday house was fabulous but I do feel that the industry needs to revert back from the late check-in and early checkout required in Covid times we’re no longer in Covid and 9 am checkout is very early even 9:30am, 4pm is very late even 330 would be better for families

    This is a beautiful, very characterful cottage in a central location near shops, the sea and the downs. It provides spacious and very comfortable accommodation with every facility we could have wanted. It has been thoughtfully extended to retain its wonderful character while also providing all modern conveniences. All the bedrooms are a good size and the bedding was very comfortable and clean. The second lounge is useful if you have to work while away as it has a desk and good internet. The garden is very pretty and is well provided with seating and tables - a lovely place to eat or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. We had regular visits in the garden from a pheasant too! The owners were generous with supplies of hand wash, laundry liquid and cleaning supplies which was very helpful and the welcome goodies were lovely. Probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in!
