Soak up the tranquil views of the Buss Creek Mashes from this bright and welcoming upside-down coastal home in Suffolk which sleeps up to six guests. Gather with your loved ones in the nautical-themed lounge or relax on the balcony with a bottle of bubbly. Discover the delights of the Edwardian seaside town of Southwold in the daytime or explore further afield in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty where you’ll find expansive beaches and an abundance of nature walking trails.

Inside the kitchen/diner, on the first floor, you will find a fitted ‘L’-shaped unit with sparkling surface tops and plenty of room for cooking a special meal for your guests. Enjoy dinner together at the dining table with chairs and don’t worry about washing up because there are two dishwashers amongst the modern appliances. Continue into the tranquil lounge and put your feet up on the sofas in front of the French doors which open up onto the balcony. There is also a separate WC with a washing machine. A family bathroom and three bedrooms are on the ground floor – a super-king-size with an en-suite, a twin and a king-size. Outside is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture.

While staying on the outskirts of Southwold in the residential area of Blackwater you’ll benefit from being within easy reach of the town centre (0.5 miles) where you can find a selection of cosy cafes, seafood restaurants and shops. If you’re a history fanatic, check out the Southwold Cannons, Southwold Lighthouse and Southwold Pier – all within 1 mile. Go for a swim at Southwold Beach (0.5 miles) and wander along the shore to reach The Denes Beach (1 mile).

      A very comfortable, and extremely well equipped, property. It is a short trip into Southwold, one of our favourite coastal towns, and with easy access to other parts of the north Suffolk coast. We greatly enjoyed our weeks stay.
