Peewit Barn is a spacious barn conversion based in Barton on the Heath, Gloucestershire. Nestled on the edge of the quiet hamlet of Kitebrook, the property is within driving distance of the neighbouring market towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow-on-the world which offer many local pubs, restaurants and local shops to suit all your needs. This barn offers a spacious living room, with the main feature being the quirky green and purple carpet, which gives the minimally designed room a wealth of character. The adjacent room being the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, with its lovely tiled flooring, white units and wooden worktops - completed to a very high standard. Gather around the cosy dining room table with seating for four people to enjoy a lovely homed cooked meal. With all rooms being situated on the ground floor, this property is easily accessible for those with limited mobility. There are two bedrooms: one king-size with an en-suite shower room and one twin. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, so you can prepare for your day in style. Outside you can enjoy a lovely rear lawned garden and stone area, with distant views of the countryside shrubbery. It is a real sun trap and makes for the perfect place to sit out and enjoy the early morning sunrise. There is off-road parking available. Barton on the Heath offers many local attractions. For a wonderful day trip, why not visit Cotswold Clubhouse? A family activity centre, ideal for children under eleven. Get involved in the arts and crafts to learn new skills, or the state of the art 3-level play frame and even a toddler area. Peewit Barn is a spacious and attractive barn in Barton on the Heath, Gloucestershire and sits on the edge of a quiet hamlet called Kitebrook. The area is particularly beautiful as it enjoys unspoilt rolling countryside with many delightful villages all nearby and similarly attractive. The villages of Little Compton, Long Compton and Great Wolford offer basic facilities for guests and there is a choice of two pubs within a 30 min walk.

My only comment would be that there is hardly any storage in the smaller bedroom so this property would be most suitable for a family of four where those using the second bedroom can use the wardrobe/chests of drawers in the main bedroom. This might be less convenient for two unrelated couples. Didn't affect me as I was largely there on my own. Sally the housekeeper was very obliging, helpful and friendly.

It's spacious, has two huge sofas in the living room, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Sadly we were under the weather during our stay but this meant we were indoors far more than originally planned and having the space to lounge around when you're ill is a bonus. It's also just off the main road, but far enough away to be peaceful. Within 4 minutes drive of the village and close to lots of other lovely places to visit. We'd most definitely recommend Peewit Barn.
