If you don't fancy cooking, head into the city of Hereford for a bite to eat; you will be spoilt for choice with the many eateries in the city centre, why not try La Madelaine for lunch and a coffee and cake stop, or perhaps give The Beefy Boys a try for rustic and hearty meals in the evenings. The area is home to a wealth of attractions for you to discover throughout your trip, including the Waterworks Museum and the Hereford Museum and Art Gallery; each host fascinating exhibitions focussing on the development of Hereford through the years on cultural and industrial levels. Nature lovers will enjoy a day at the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, home to tropical butterflies and exotic plants while being just walking distance from the magnificent Forest of Dean.
