Good base for long walks and days out. Lovely and quiet for our dogs. Thank you for the hot drinks and lemon cake on arrival.

We were looking for peace and quiet, somewhere to wind down after a busy year and the Hideout provided the perfect place, whilst being close to Ross, Monmouth, Hereford and other places of interest. Ian and Sally were great hosts, there if needed but not intrusive. We will be back next year.

The weather was mostly raining so we didn't use the swimming pool but it looked lovely. Everything was provided that we needed. The decking area was contained so we were happy that our little dog could safely wander in and out. The owners left us in peace to enjoy our stay but were very friendly and helpful. There was no lock on the bathroom door which we would have preferred but otherwise a great holiday for a couple looking for a tranquil little retreat.
