Guests enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the property's proximity to local attractions. Craven Arms 2.8 miles. Nestled in the small hamlet of Bache, just on the outskirts of Craven Arms in Shropshire, is this splendid detached barn conversion, Pool Barn. Set over two floors and sleeping up to six guests, Pool Barn is ideal for a refreshing break with loved ones, enjoying a spacious garden with access to a lake which is available for fishing and close proximity to the Shropshire Hills. Ample off-road parking with greet you on your arrival at Pool Barn, located outside of the holiday home and owner’s property. Step into the homely kitchen/diner where you will have all you need to prepare tasty home-cooked meals for your guests, as they gather around the dining table to discuss plans for the days ahead. After a delicious meal, retire to the sitting room where you can put your feet up on the plush sofa and cosy up with a glass of wine whilst enjoying your favourite film. Completing the ground-floor is the convenient twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, ideal for those with limited mobility. Climbing the stairs, you will find two additional bedrooms, a double with Velux windows allowing natural light to flow in, and a double with en-suite cloakroom. Prep for the day with a refreshing shower before joining your guests for an alfresco breakfast in the stunning gardens. Grab your walking boots and head to the nearby market town of Craven Arms, where you will find a small selection of shops, convenience stores, pubs and restaurants serving fresh produce and local ales. Make a stop at the quirky museum, Land of Lost Content, which houses an array of items stemming from the Victorian era up to the present and enjoy a moment of nostalgia. Take the short drive to the delightful market town of Church Stretton, where you can enjoy a myriad of scenic walks through the nature reserves of Devils Mouth, Long Synalds and Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd, which also has paths available for cyclists and horse riders. Unleash your inner historian with a trip to the medieval town of Ludlow, home to the remarkable Norman Castle which frequently holds markets and fayres for the locals and visitors. Learn more about Ludlow at the Ludlow Museum which details the towns history and architecture, as well as historical items on display. Nearby is the Whitcliffe Common Nature Reserve, a beautiful spot for enjoying a picnic alongside the River Teme. For an idyllic getaway to the Shropshire countryside, choose Pool Barn.
