Enjoy the popular market in the town square and numerous annual events, or visit one of the many independent shops, pubs, and restaurants. The property is perfect whether you just want to relax and unwind or take an active holiday in Shropshire.

After a busy day exploring the area, return to this converted cart house which has been designed with your comfort in mind, and furnished to a high standard throughout. Walk into the stylish open-plan living area with a comfortable sofa to snuggle up on. Watch a film on the Smart TV, and light the wood burner for cosy nights. If eating in, the kitchen is a lovely space to rustle up a meal using some of the fantastic local produce you will find at the Ludlow Farm shop. The dining table is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal together and plan your holiday activities. There is also a WC on the ground floor. When ready for bed, head upstairs into the spacious bedroom with a double bed and luxurious linen which is guaranteed to give you a good night’s sleep. The cottage has been beautifully renovated, with beautiful decor, to create a very stylish, cosy & comfortable haven. The welcome pack & kitchen supplies were much appreciated & the instructions were clear without being overwhelming. A great location to access lots of places with relative ease. How lovely to be able to enjoy an easy stroll to The Shropshire Hills Centre & spectacular Stokesay Castle, just by stepping out of The Carthouse. For those of you who appreciate a few car free days, there are both buses and trains readily available too for trips to Ludlow, Church Stretton, Hereford & Shrewsbury. There are lots of beautiful walks to be enjoyed as well as some great pubs such as The Ragleth Inn, Little Stretton, where we had a splendid Sunday Lunch. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Carthouse for a lovely getaway.
