No light pollution so very dark at night which makes falling asleep really easy. A lovely cosy cabin which all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Amenities within easy driving distance (shops etc) . Some very interesting places to visit nearby too and good food. Lovely friendly residents in the local areas and Sally Anne the owner of the cabin is a a pleasure to meet. There is another cabin located at the rear of this property but it is slightly offset and unobtrusive to your stay. Lots of birds and squirrels to keep you entertained if you don't venture out. A very enjoyable holiday.

It is in a great location for many trips and walks both in Shropshire and North Wales. Also in close proximity to pubs, takeaways, restaurants and supermarket. The verandah was a relaxing place to sit, whatever the weather, to take in the incredible views. The lodge was well equipped with everything we required and more. However, the Sykes listing would benefit from an update as there are now improved smart tv's and no dvd players (don't buy dvds like me!) We had a fabulous week and would love to return one day.
Sally
So comfortable, and clean, all the mod cons and then some. We enjoyed it so much, we are returning very soon.
