A stylish and elegant converted barn with a striking interior creating the perfect backdrop for any social occasion whatever the time of year. This is the perfect base for enjoying the festivals and events that the nearby, and beautiful, historic town of Ludlow offers. The barns are in an excellent location for relaxing with friends deep in the South Shropshire countryside. Ludlow is a thriving market town, boasting nearly five hundred listed buildings, with the original medieval street layout surviving almost unchanged. Situated on a cliff above the River Teme, it's best known for its September Food and Drink Festival and has a strong reputation for providing excellent local fayre year round. Walkers will enjoy trails from the door of barns, with twelve acres of farmland surrounding the barn to enjoy, and the Clee Hill and child friendly Mortimer Forest within easy reach. The barn is cleverly divided in to two halves making it perfect for both partying and privacy. Step through the main barn door into a large open plan entertaining space with wood burner, comfortable seating, plus a large dining table and stylish kitchen, as featured in Nigella Lawson's Christmas special 2018 and Elle Decoration, with electric range oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and breakfast bar. There are four bedrooms in this part of the property, a super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) on the ground floor, shower room with WC and utility area. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a super king size bed and en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC. A further super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) and a children s bunk bedroom with additional single bed. There is a further family bathroom upstairs with rainforest style shower and WC. In the second half of the barn, step in to an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with wood burner. There are two bedrooms in this part of the barn, a super king size downstairs bedroom with neighbouring bathroom with shower and WC, upstairs is an en suite super king size bedroom with rainforest style shower and WC, both of these bedrooms can be made into a twin bedroom on request at time of booking for ultimate flexibility. Outside there is a large undercover outdoor kitchen area with fire pit and BBQ and perfect for soaking up the view on a balmy summer's evening. There is an additional entertainment barn with traditional bar finish, wood burner and darts board as used by Nigella. The barn is set within 12 beautiful acres of farmland which guests are invited to enjoy. Need to know: Six bedrooms in total: four bedrooms on the Ludlow Barn side of the barn, including an en suite super king, a ground floor super king with bathroom, a further king size bedroom and a brilliant kids bunk bed room for up to three children. Two bedrooms on the Tenbury Cottage side of the barn include, a ground floor king size bedroom and an en suite super king size bedroom. All beds can be made into twins on request at the time of booking for ultimate flexibility for all groups. . Open plan living space in Ludlow Barn with wood burning stove, sofas to sink into, low tech family games, higher tech TV, DVD, Wi Fi and music docks. Retreat to Tenbury Cottage for quieter days, perfect for families sharing, with a second log burner, basket of wood and a further TV, DVD and Wi Fi. There is central heating through the property and the main living space in the large barn has underfloor heating. . Ludlow has a fabulous foodie reputation, the dual kitchens are worthy recipients of the delicious local fayre and there are caterers available should you prefer someone else to do the cooking. Fridge/freezer, double oven/gas hob, microwave, dishwasher as well as plentiful crockery and cutlery. . Acres of farmland to explore and two great chill out zones. An undercover outdoor kitchen and dining area, with fire pit and bbq, as well as a separate barn with rustic pub vibe including wood burner & darts! . Five luxurious bathrooms in total, with both baths and showers available. A laundry room with washing machine. . Hairdryers, towels and bedding all included. Knowledgeable and friendly hosts on hand should you need them, brimming with advice and great local tips, fully respecting your privacy otherwise. . A hot tub can be made available through hiring in from a local company. If you wish to book a hot tub for your stay then please contact the owner . New Wellness Area now open consisting of a beautiful Baltic wood fired sauna with stunning countryside views a cold plunge tub. An outdoor cold water shower and a seating area for guests to enjoy between our beautiful old pair of pear trees. The health benefits of hot and cold therapy include improved immunity, relaxation, reduction of stress, relief of pain and much more. To hire the space, please contact the owners direct in advance of your stay. There is a one off cost of 50 75 to use this facility for the duration of your stay. . If you require a Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday booking please enquire with the Team and we will check and advise if we can accommodate . Warmly welcomed at Redford, two well behaved dogs (paws off furniture please). Cot, highchair and toys available on request. . There is no interconnecting door between Ludlow Barn and Tenbury Cottage end, so each are wonderfully private should you need them to be and available to rent separately for smaller groups. . Additional services can be organised direct with the owners. These include the hire of a hot tub, bell tents for additional guests and private chefs . Accepts up to 5 dogs as per additional cost must be split 3 dogs in Ludlow Barn and 2 dogs in Tenbury Cottage . Please note, group bookings may be checked to ensure the purpose of the stay is for a holiday.
