Even though the front of the cottage is by the road the double glazing blocks out the noise. It is centrally located and a 10 minute walk uphill to town. The stairs are tricky but the banister goes all the way up so not so bad. There were flowers, milk, juice and prosecco on arrival which was very nice. It is right on the river with a small paved courtyard garden so an ideal spot for artists and those that love being by water. Loads of restaurants in town. We would recommend this cottage. Michiala and Marion did a good job.

It is about a 15-minute walk from the railway station. Food shopping is easy with almost daily markets and many independent shops. We were privileged to be Michiala and Mark's first guests and they went out of their way to accommodate our particular needs. The cottage though tiny was immaculately clean and has a delightful courtyard overlooking the river. The double-glazing at the front of the house does a good job at keeping out the traffic noise. Alas the mattress in the single bedroom was too firm for this petite visitor. Otherwise our stay was very comfortable. We were lucky enough to see an otter during our visit. I would return just for that!

Sitting in the courtyard overlooking the river with a glass of prosecco, what could be more relaxing! The cottage lived up to expectations and the information book was very helpful
