The peaceful rural hamlet of West Felton, with a traditional pub and village store, stands close to the historic border town of Oswestry, the famous village of Whittington (birthplace of the first Lord Mayor of London) and the delightful town of Ellesmere, known as Shropshires Lakeland because of its nine meres (or lakes).
