Guests say

Bull Hollow Cottage is consistently praised for its beautiful, secluded setting and well-maintained gardens. Guests appreciate the tranquility, wildlife, and the thoughtful welcome hamper. While most find the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, a few mention minor issues with the shower, sofa, and mobile signal. The property is highly recommended for a peaceful retreat.

Reviews frequently commend the cottage's cleanliness, with numerous mentions of it being 'spotless' and 'immaculate'. One minor complaint about kitchen utensils does not significantly detract from the overall high standard observed by guests.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, natural beauty, and wildlife, contributing to a tranquil and restorative experience. The occasional mention of helicopter noise is a minor point compared to the overwhelming appreciation for the setting.

The cottage is generally regarded as comfortable, with a 'sumptuous' bed and cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests suggest improvements to the shower, sofa, and mattress, indicating room for enhancement in comfort.

Facilities are well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely garden. Some guests suggest updates to the shower and lounge furniture. The lack of mobile signal is noted, but Wi-Fi calling is a mitigating factor.

The welcome hamper is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. It is important to note that such gifts, while common, are a courtesy and not guaranteed.

We loved the relative isolation in such a well equipped property. The welcome hamper was really appreciated and the property was very warm and comfortable. We would go back.

Absolutely magical place. Quiet and beautiful location. The house was lovely with everything you could need and more provided. The welcome hamper was such a nice touch. Would stay again and again.

The setting of Bull Hollow was idyllic, so peaceful & surrounded by trees. The house is full of character but quite shabby inside & not up to the usual Rural Retreats standard to which we have become accustomed over the last 10 years.
