We were able to have lovely walks straight from its door. The cottage is extremely cosy indoors, with interesting pictures on the wall, so that it doesn't have the 'barren' look that some holiday cottages have. We have rented many cottages over the last 40 years and this is one of the best we have stayed in. It was very well equipped, and though one-bedroomed, there was plenty of room for a couple. Lots of cupboard and wardrobe space too. We would recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet country retreat.
