The spacious outdoor decking area with river views is a highlight, alongside the well-equipped and cosy interior that makes for a relaxing stay.

The property is well-furnished with high-quality equipment and amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen and entertainment options. Some minor issues were noted, such as Wi-Fi connectivity problems and the state of the bicycles, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

A big self-contained annex with everything you need located on a nice quiet road within easy walking distance of Shrewsbury and all its cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants, and a beautiful, secluded garden backing onto the River Severn with a tree-covered island as a backdrop. Grace was the perfect host - attentive but unobtrusive. Thoroughly recommended!

The location is ideal only a few minutes out of Shrewsbury by car , shops within walking distance , The Abbey pub and restaurant is ideal if you want something to eat that is close to the cottage , although we do like The Mill in Ironnbridge the food their is excellent. The cottage is so comfortable with all that is needed to have a wonderful stay , the bed my partner and myself slept in on the ground floor was exceptionally comfortable which for me was important as I have an arthritic spine . Everything you would need in the kitchen , very well stocked it’s home from home . The deck at the back of the cottage is a fantastic place to see the local squirrels playing around , I managed to get some wonderful videos of them eating from the feeder that Grace the owner of the cottage who lives next door, put a feeder out to attract the squirrels they really were a delight to watch , she is a very nice Lady and very helpful , helped us when the tv played up , of course we were spoiled for choice having sky , Netflix , wonderful to come back after a day out to watch our favourite movies , it was a wonderful week and I can’t wait to go back , I would fully recommend this property , the downstairs toilet and shower is quirky but if you can cope with that you will have a great holiday . Jane and Graham …
