Dairy Cottage is highly praised for its well-equipped, comfortable, and spotless interiors. Guests appreciate the friendly and responsive owners, the woodland for dog walks, and the bonus of a tennis court and nursery facilities. The unique bothy in the woods offers a charming retreat. While some guests noted the lack of an enclosed garden and less comfortable upstairs beds, the overall experience is deemed wonderful, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as spotlessly clean, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its woodland access and proximity to Shrewsbury, although the lack of an enclosed garden was a slight downside for some.
The main bedroom and living areas are praised for comfort, but some guests found the upstairs beds less comfortable, slightly lowering the score.
The cottage's facilities, including the tennis court, nursery play area, and bothy, are highly regarded. Minor teething problems were swiftly resolved, showing good maintenance.
While the reviews reflect the owners' thoughtfulness in providing access to facilities and addressing issues, there is no mention of gifts, so this category cannot be scored.

The cottage is very well-equipped and comfortable, it had everything we needed. And spotlessly clean too. The owners were helpful & quick to respond to queries, both before & during our stay. The woodland was great for our dog, great to have that on the doorstep. A slight downside was the lack of enclosed garden for the dog, but we knew that when booking. Also useful to have access to an outside 3-pin socket for charging the car overnight. All in all, a great property.

The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome; nothing seems too much trouble. The cottage is in a corner of an old farm quadrant part of which is now a pre-school day nursery. There's a lovely positive playful sound from the children (but could be a downside if you don't like the sound of children playing). The nursery closes at 6pm after which our children were allowed to use the soft play facilities and gardens. A real bonus was the use of the tennis court and access to the 50 acre wood opposite the cottage. The walk around the perimeter was about 1.3 miles and was a great place to walk our dog. All in all, a wonderful stay which felt like a proper break away from home. We hope we can book again next year.

We had a very enjoyable stay and little 2 year old Lilly loved the ballpond/play gym. The owner is very helpful.
