Although there are a few miles of single tract road on the approach, we didnât have much trouble. Well placed for lots of nice walks and midway between Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Wouldnât hesitate to recommend.

Log burner was a god send - we arrived and stayed during storm Bert so not ideal! I think it would be a lovely place to stay in the summer. I'd read about the lanes leading to the cottage being difficult and they certainly were - narrow, windy, bumpy and in parts flooded. If you have a 4x4 you'll be ok. That's the only negative really.

Ready supply of logs and kindling which was really appreciated. Eggs and biscuits found in the kitchen on our arrival were a nice touch. Overall a great stay, would definitely come again.
