The property is conveniently located on the outskirts of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, ideal for walkers and cyclists alike, as well as there being many activities in the area which you can take up throughout your stay. The Edge Adventure activity centre hosts archery, clay pigeon shooting and many other activities as well as serving lunch provided by the nearby Wenlock Deli. The town of Telford is a short drive from the dwelling and plays host to Hoo Farm; animal lovers will relish in their experience days where you can feed the farm animals and watch the sheep racing. Nearby attractions include Hawkstone Park Follies, 100 acres of parkland home to caves, trails and architecture set amongst the rugged sandstone hills, perfect for a day of exploring. The charming Woodseaves Miniature Railway is within half an hour drive from the property, open to public to discover the tiny railway running through Woodseaves Garden Plants nursery before taking a stroll through the main gardens. Wem is a charming market town nestled on the outskirts of the Shropshire Hills aonb, conveniently situated on the borders of England and Wales, making it the ideal base for exploring this delightful region. The town is home to quaint shops, pubs and cafés but it known for its Thursday market located outside the town hall. Nearby is the town of Shrewsbury, the birthplace of Charles Darwin, where you will find a statue in his memorial outside the public library. Shrewsbury is also known for its historic castle and stunning abbey, making for a fascinating day out.
