Beechview is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and peaceful location. The proximity to Alton Towers and local amenities like pubs and tea rooms is frequently appreciated. The property offers stunning views and a private garden, making it an ideal choice for family holidays and tranquil retreats.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'tidy'. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The location is highly praised for its peace and proximity to attractions like Alton Towers. The scenic views and local walks add to the charm, although the remote nature may not suit everyone.
The property is frequently described as comfortable, with a particularly comfortable sofa and beds. However, a few guests mentioned small beds and a disappointing shower, slightly affecting the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-appointed kitchen and adequate amenities for a family stay. Some guests suggested improvements such as more cutlery and a full-size clothes drying rack.
While guests mention welcome treats and a helpful guidebook, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures like gifts. Therefore, it's important to note that such extras, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

My 2 kids, my mum and myself all had a fabulous time here. It was very handy for Alton towers which was the main reason for our stay. The area is very picturesque and the winter sunrise was a sight to behold as if someone had set fire to the horizon. We ate along at the Fox and Goose on the night we arrived. The cost was reasonable and the food was excellent. The property had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The guidebook gives a very detailed breakdown of what is in the local vicinity and was very helpful. Thank you for making our visit to Alton Towers a very pleasant experience and I would love to return one day. Thank you.

The views and peace and quiet are lovely, however the access and location more remote than we expected. The house itself was adequate with its facilities but definitely lacked that home from home touches and feel. There was no dvd player and limited access to the smart TV features. Although in the listing it stated fuel and power included, there was no logs or kindling for the fire. The shower was somewhat awkward and tight to get in and out of. We did receive a welcome email from the owners -sadly it wasn't up to date with knowledge the local pub was not serving food till the 26th Sept - this would have been very handy to know after a long 6 hour drive up as we were looking forward to eating out the first night, not getting back into the car to find somewhere else. We loved the sunrises out the back and the rear bedroom bed was very comfy to sleep in. We personally wouldnt stay here again
