Guests say

Cornerways Cottage in Shropshire is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location in a quaint village with easy access to Newport. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy woodburner, and secure garden, ideal for dogs. The property is recommended for its welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches, including a welcome basket.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about specific cleanliness issues. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is consistently described as beautiful and convenient, with easy access to local amenities, pubs, and walks. The village setting is particularly appreciated for its charm.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a sociable kitchen-diner layout. The presence of a secure garden adds to the comfort for those with pets.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen and social spaces. Some guests noted issues with toilet seats, a shower head, and understanding the heating system, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

While many guests mention and appreciate welcome gifts, as these are subject to change and not guaranteed, it is not possible to provide a score. However, the consistent mention of these gifts indicates a high level of thoughtfulness from the host.

It’s very clean, very comfy and very well equipped. Enjoyed our stay there very much.

Cottage is well appointed and clean with lovely welcoming touches such as a bottle of wine and biscuits. Plenty to see and do in the area. We walked the railway/canal trail from Gnosall to Norbury Junction which was nice and relaxing. The pub opposite was friendly and welcoming and our son enjoyed playing the pool and darts there. Would definitely come back to stay again.
