Applecroft is consistently praised for its peaceful setting, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches by hosts Emma and Ian. Guests appreciate the beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen, and the property's suitability for dogs, despite some minor concerns about the garden's security for pets. The cottage's comfort and facilities receive positive remarks, although there are occasional mentions of maintenance needs. The location offers tranquility and wildlife, with some guests noting the drive to nearby attractions.
Guests frequently commend the property for its cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting this aspect positively. The property is described as immaculate and very clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and stunning views, though some guests mention the drive required to reach nearby amenities and attractions. The rural setting is perfect for a peaceful retreat, but the accessibility of the track and distance to local pubs and walks are noted as drawbacks for some.
The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, with firm mattresses and a cosy atmosphere. However, there are a few comments about the beds being too hard for some preferences, and a desire for additional relaxing furniture in the living room.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and good communication with hosts. Some maintenance issues are mentioned, such as the dining table needing attention and the occasional difficulty with shower temperature consistency, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.
The hosts are noted for their thoughtfulness, with guests mentioning welcome gifts and festive decorations. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Three couples stayed for the week and we were very comfortable. Any fears about the track to the house we're soon dismissed....despite heavy rain the week before our visit ...the lane was easy and accessible. Even though we had three cars of various styles and ages. The lane was absolutely not a problem. We loved the views, quietness and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is very well equipt. We didn't need a thing. We would definitely be happy to stay in Applecroft again. Our hosts were easy to contact and very attentive. Thank you.

We would like to point out that the drive isn't suitable for some cars, if you came in a sports car you wouldn't make it down. The house was lovely & clean when we arrived & there was absolutely everything you could ask for to cook full meals at the property, along with a good size fridge & freezer. The dining kitchen was really lovely for the social aspect along with the table & chairs in the garden which the weather allowed us to use on the first night we where there which was lovely. A footstool or 2 in the living room would have added some extra comfort as for 4 adults relaxing on an evening wasn't massively relaxing. The beds are hard, which as someone who likes a hard mattress I thought would be fine, but the double we had to put the duvet under the sheet to pad it out a bit! We feel some people may struggle with this. Bathrooms were lovely & clean & showers were great even when all 4 of us were showering to go out. Having the downstairs toilet was a massive bonus. Location is what really let it down for us sadly. It felt like a 30 minute drive was required to get anywhere & the lack of a village pub to walk to again was a disappointment. For a retreat of doing nothing, this property is perfect & absolutely beautiful, but I wouldn't say it's best placed for exploring Worcestershire personally.
